Located in downtown Calgary, this district heating facility is designed to house over 60 MW of boiler and co-generation plant and with the necessary auxiliary plant to pump over 100 MW of heating water through approximately 20 kilometers of buried piping to heat buildings located in the Calgary core.

The initial phase included the installation of two high efficiency, 15 MW (1,500 bhp) and one high efficiency 5 MW (500 bhp) flexible tube, forced draft boilers and two boiler flue condensing economizers for energy reclaim. The building has achieved LEED Silver Certification and hence utilizes variable speed pumping, advanced controls and various other energy saving techniques.
