Together with the opening of an office in Nanaimo last year, this expanded presence enhances the firm's ability to support clients across the region through every phase of project delivery, from planning and design to construction and ongoing operations.

Principal Shayne Knox joins Smith + Andersen to lead the Victoria office. He brings more than a decade of experience delivering projects throughout the region, and a longstanding connection to Victoria. His local knowledge and relationships, backed by Smith + Andersen’s multidisciplinary expertise, positions the firm to support engineering projects across Vancouver Island. Associate Principal Raymond Desjardins leads the Nanaimo office, continuing the momentum established since its opening last year.
