A well-rounded approach.

Junxiang graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering from Concordia University, later going on to pursue a Master's of Engineering in 2009. Since graduating, he has garnered more than a decade of experience in areas such as HVAC systems, geothermal energy, and passive house design.

Since joining Smith + Andersen in 2014, Junxiang has expanded his project portfolio to include Hydro Ottawa Facilities Renewal Program (South Campus Building), as well as notable high-rise residential projects throughout Ottawa, such as The Envie Student Housing, Frontier and Latitude Apartments at City Park, and Luma Apartments at Elmvale Acres. On each of these projects, Junxiang has been a highly-motivated leader, working diligently to meet deadlines, budgets, and scopes, guiding each project he is a part of toward success. He prioritizes communication with clients and project team members in order to consistently achieve design goals and exceed project expectations.

Junxiang is a member of the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO), the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI), and the Canada Green Building Council (CAGBC).
