Technical expertise with a business growth mindset.

Sahil pulls from nearly 20 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection system design. He brought this comprehensive background in transportation, industrial, commercial, and residential development to Smith + Andersen when he joined in 2021. His portfolio spans a wide variety of market sectors across North America, including projects at New York City transportation heavyweights John F. Kennedy Airport, Penn Station, and Hoboken Terminal – the City’s major intermodal transportation hub.

Throughout a project’s process, Sahil prioritizes building strong relationships with clients, contractors, and team members alike. This, in combination with his in-depth technical knowledge and forward-thinking approach, makes him a highly-trusted advisor when it comes to mechanical engineering matters.

Sahil is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC), the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), and the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). He is also certified in plumbing design from the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE).
